How does Web Hosting work?
In order to have your website live on the internet and getting indexed by search engines like google, you need to host your website by purchasing a web hosting plan with us.
What tools or software can I use to build my website?
You can now build your own website with drag-and-drop tools by signing up for one of our website builder plans. No technical knowledge is needed.
What kind of web hosting plan do I need?
If you have a small/medium size portfolio website where you don’t have many web pages or a payment system probably the WP STARTER Plan is ideal for the beginning. Otherwise, if your website is big and needs lots of resources for processing payments or having a blog with lots of articles and images, then the WP BUSINESS and/or WP PREMIUM Plans are ideal for you. Whatever plan you choose, don’t worry, you can later upgrade or downgrade if you need to.
Purchased a hosting plan, now what do I do?
Once you’ve purchased your hosting plan with us you have 2 options.
- ONE: To open a ticket by logging in to your account, and request to have a free WordPress setup for you. Totally free.
- TWO: Or you can upload the website to your public_html folder, otherwise simply ask us to do it for you for free, by logging into your account and opening a ticket.
What does free domain registration mean?
Free domain registration is when you don’t pay for the first year subscription of that domain name, based on a chosen web hosting plan you purchased with us. After that year you have to pay for the next coming year. Choose one of our hosting plans and look for the one that has a free domain too.
How do I transfer my Web pages to your server?
In order to transfer your web pages to our server you first need to have purchased a web hosting plan with us. See our hosting packages.
Once you’ve purchased a hosting plan then you will automatically have access to a cpanel where you then have to upload your files in the correct directory, which is the public_html folder, or through an FTP client like Filezilla. If you want us to transfer your web pages to our server you first need to open a ticket with us requesting for free migration of your website/web page/s and one of our representatives will help you, and it’s totally free.
Can I host multiple domain names with my hosting account?
Yes. You can purchase and host as many domains as you wish with WPHostee while using the same account. You can also transfer your domain to us if you have bought it with another domain registrar.
